What is our blog design process?
We start with a discovery meeting needed to determine exactly what the goals and technical requirements are for your blog. Depenind your website design budget and needs, we determine whether a completely unique and custom blog design is the best approach for you. For smaller budgets, we usually recommend modifying a Wordpress template blog theme.
We begin by installing Wordpress on a development server. Then we install the approprate plug-ins needed to extend the functionality of Wordpress. For example, we recommend installing blog backup software (UpdraftPlus), a caching plugin for increasing page load times (W3 Total Cache), a search engine optimization plugin (Yoast SEO), and other plugins as needed by your requirements.
Once we have the functional requirements in place, we implement a custom designed theme or a predesigned Wordpress template theme. We make sure that all the design elements follow your branding guidelines. Don't have a logo for your blog? No worries... we can create one for you. We then add all the content needed to help your blog take off.
